In 1991, Russell Bistline was fresh out of college with a degree in Construction, Engineering and Technology from Central Missouri State University (Now UCM). Not sure what he wanted to do, a friend offered Russell a job with AAA Rent-All in Warrensburg MO. AAA Rent-All was a growing rental company based in Wichita Kansas. In 1997, the company was acquired by a national rental company. Within a few years, Russell believed that it was all about the numbers and less about taking care of employees, customers and community. Jana Bistline had also graduated from Central Missouri State University, (now UCM) in 1991 with a degree in Finance. She started working for American Century Investment company in 1992. Jana worked there until the family relocated back to Warrensburg in 2004. In 2005, Russell made a comment about opening his own store. Russell and Jana looked into that idea to see if it was possible and what would be involved in such a venture. So after 15 years of managing a rental store and working for someone else, Russell and Jana took the plunge and B-Quip opened its doors on June 1, 2006. Together, Russell and Jana pride themselves on providing a high degree of customer service with an understanding of the local area construction and maintenance needs. They are a shining example of people creating a small business, creating jobs, and working with small businesses, the backbone of our economy!
